Chair - Stephen Harrison
Stephen has been involved in the NHS for
eight years first as a non-executive director and chair of audit for the
Bath and West Community NHS Trust and latterly non-executive director and
chairman of Mendip Primary Care Trust. Stephen's career was with Clarks
shoes and he has extensive experience of management and organisation change.

Gloucestershire Cluster - Deborah Evans
Deborah Evans was previously Chief Executive of Bristol South and West
PCT. She has been a health service manager for almost 30 years, working in
South Wales, Hampshire, London and the South West in a variety of hospital
management and commissioning roles. Debroah is responsible for specialised
services commissioning across the South West and leads a health improvement
collaborative which spans the eight core cities in the region.
PEC Chair - Dr Mary Backhouse
Mary has worked as a GP in Nailsea since
1990. Prior to that she was a GP in North-East London. She has also been a
member of the Woodspring Practice Based Commissioning Board since April 2007
Interim Director of Finance - Robert Knibbs
Locality Director - Jeanette George
Previously Deputy Director of Service Development and
Head of Service Redesign at Bristol PCT, Jeanette has also been the
emergency care lead in Bath and North East Somerset NHS and has experience
in managing service redesign programmes in acute trusts, mental health and
community services.
Director of Public Health & Health Inequalities -
Becky Pollard
Becky is experienced in working in public health
across the south west region over the past nine years and previously as a
health improvement specialist and manager.
Non Executive Director - Kathy Headdon
Kathy has a background in capital project
management and formerly worked for the South West Regional Health Authority.
A former lay member of the Woodspring Primary Care Group she has been a Non
Executive Director for six years.
Non Executive Director - Philip Morgan
Philip has a wealth of experience in social care
particularly with mental health issues. He is currently the voluntary sector
co-ordinator for The Care Forum in Bristol and also runs a training business
delivering courses on a range of health related issues.
Non Executive Director - Graham Nix
Graham joined the NHS in 1974 and trained as
a chartered management accountant and has worked for a number of health
organisations across the South West. He has held a number of roles with
United Bristol Healthcare NHS Trust including interim chief executive and
finance director. He was also the project director for the new children's
hospital in Bristol.
Non Executive Director - Dr Paul Phillips - OBE
Paul
is the
Principal and Chief Executive of Weston College. His many public roles
include Chairman of the South Ward Regeneration Board (Weston-super-Mare);
Chairman of the Learning and Skills/Children and Young People sub-group for
the North Somerset Local Authority Agreement; an academic advisory to the
Home Office and a Board Member of the Learning and Skills Council in the
West of England. He also has key experience of business recovery.
Non Executive Director - James White
James is the Founder and Managing Director of Customers
Really Matter and is the driving force behind the company's growth within
CRM, Email Marketing and Software as a Service (SaaS) sector. James has also
provided consultancy to a range of large organisations within the UK,
notably the Department of Health, Strategic Health Authorities, Department
of Trade and Industry and Department of Sport and Culture. James is a full
member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has a Bsc Honours Degree
in Business Information Management Systems.
