Forthcoming Reduction in funding in public services, growth of income to reduce waiting times. In North Somerset has a growing population, particularly in the older people age range compared to the rest of the south west uk. 2011 we expect to be getting very little growth in public funding. Its going to be hard. 20% efficiency. 1 in 5 processes. Things  that are wasteful or wastes patients time. Shift care closer to home. I find it a challenging and exciting prospect. Orchard view, disabled restbite care. People should have a choice of services. Long time of engagement and discussion. Making it right for the users and their carers.
Signed up to a standards maternity service. More choice, information and continuity.
Fluoridation of local water supplies, a safe and effective way of reducing dental decay.
Performance of our services, hospital infection of reduced, reduce waiting times, extending GP open times. From April measured on Patient Reported Outcome Measures PROMs.
