Section 24A of the NHS Act 2006 requires a Primary Care Trust to prepare a report that covers consultations that it has carried out, or is proposing to carry out, before making commissioning decisions, and the influence that those consultations have had on ‘commissioning decisions’ and ‘relevant decisions’.

The report also includes consultations which are proposed to be carried out in the financial year following the year covered by this report. The report also includes updates on projects where there has been previously reported consultation and where there continues to be ongoing engagement and involvement until the project completes.
